NVSU COE Shines at 27th PSABE-PPG Luzon-wide Convention
Agricultural and biosystems engineering students from Nueva Vizcaya State University's (NVSU) College of Engineering (COE) secured multiple awards during the 27th Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers - Pre Professional Group (PSABE-PPG) Luzon-wide Convention, hosted by Mindoro State University (MSU), January 29 to 31, 2025.
The university celebrates the following achievements by its students:
1st Place, Bilao Painting: Daniel Omar Marquez
1st Place, CAD Challenge: Cedric Peril
2nd Place, Mechatronics Challenge: Jireh Gem Lalaan & Cedric Ordinario
3rd Place, ABE Quiz Bee: Edilhea Alvaro, Othmar Vergara, Giezzel Guinomon
3rd Place, Tractor Driving and Hitching (Female Category): Precious Joy Nanglegan
3rd Place, Undergraduate Thesis Presentation (Poster Exhibit Category): Christel Joy Canta
These achievements contributed to the university's impressive overall ranking, placing fourth among top institutions in Luzon, following Cagayan State University-Carig Campus, Pampanga State Agricultural University, and Romblon State University.
Their coach is Dr. Mary Hazel Joy C. Ugot.

This year’s event, featured a variety of competitions, including technical challenges, creative displays, and academic contests, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their skills and learn from one another.
